Default help fixing heater and heated seats

Hi all

I have a grand cherokee limited v8 4.7(yeah) anyways the heater is broken and im freezing my ass off. Has anyone else had this problem?
How much will it cost to fix it? Alternatively, can i do it myself?

I also want to get the heated seats fixed. How much can i expect to pay and where do i go in Sydney to get this done?

I also had the air con fixed recently but now everytime i turn it on it has a really bad smell - like dead rotting fish or something. the actual temperature control doesn't seem to be working and the de-mister is almost useless.

Any advice pls?

Youve most probably got the dreaded heater flap problem, this is common fault & has been covered, try search function.
Bad smell is prob fungus in a/c evaporator, aircon specialists have a special deoderiser which also kills the fungi.
Heatd seat wires brake (there just like an electric blanket),theres a write-up on www.wjjeeps.com on how to replace.

My ZJ heater crapped itself putting coolant in the heater vents which was pretty stinky ,always fogged up the screen.Have disconnected it till I get round to fixing it .and the seat heaters.and the aircon.
