ive seen someone paint the original rims black, they actually dont look that bad painted, at least it looks different.
315's a good tyre thats what i have and cos there not quite a 35" being 34.4" there is a chance (a very very slim chance) i can get it oked by the engineer, were going to give it a try anyhow as Track Width ok, Tread width ok its just the Diameter that i miss out on being Roadworthy. Hey NSW can have 35" Aproved why can we?.

no chance at all mate. a 35/12.5 will still scrub on 5 inch's of BS and that an extra 1 inch further out. Tell 'em their dreaming mate!!

That shouldn't be a worry, i've found the severely scratched alloys don't stand out much when your paintwork & hardtop are in the same state
