I've read that, on my 2012 Overland it's a button in the bottom row with the hazards, bullshit parking sensors off and some other things

Update. I rang today and they confirmed that the new firmware update gives wireless apple CarPlay and wired android auto.

Pulled the pin. Unit has been ordered. Was told 3 week wait. COVID reasons.

Steering wheel heater??!! Didn't know they existed. I think my 'humble' Laredo is overloaded with battery sapping gizmo's I never use, but seriously, steering wheel heaters?

Well, just pulled the trigger on the CC3 with backup cam and dash cam gizmo, that should save me having the bullshit suction cap pos I have now that keeps calling off and setting off the alarm.
I wonder if the low res factory cam can be ripped out and used as a rock cam up front for tracks

Supposedly it does, but I haven't tried, I've put a SIM card in mine, so I'm using all the apps directly on the device, YouTube, Spotify etc.

This looks much more appealing and 6gb/128gb with arm cpu should boot up quickly when starting the car
The tesla style ones are so so so so underpowered and appear to boot up super slowly
Whats the bootup time on the cc3 like jk_renegade01 ?

Looks very interesting specwise

https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/teyes-cc3.4189041/

screen seems responsive

Boot up is almost instant, the screen is super responsive, in all honesty, I cannot fault this unit, I'm actually blown away (keep in mind, my stock units Bluetooth and GPS didn't work, so I've had a very low bar to exceed)

As far as I know, all the features you have on stock oem 2014 unit work via this unit, not sure what harness you need, but it will be worth it, such a great unit..
