This is the camper we had when we had our JK, but we chose not to get one with a tent attached this time! The set up worked pretty well, those single pole touring tents are really fast to set up, faster than any camper trailer we've had but only disadvantage of that kind of set up is not having a big awning which is normally part of any good camper trailer.
Prior to this we've had an Adventure Pilbara and then an All Terrain (all before the Jeep).

The Jeep was good but not ideal for the kind of trips we like to do, we did end up changing to a Troopy, it's just going to suit us better both while the kids are at home and after they're gone. I think now we won't even need to tow a trailer any more which will be awesome! Must say I would still class myself as a Jeep lover though! My Husband has always been a "Cruiser Man" and I think he honestly did like the Jeep in a lot of ways. I'm happy he was at least open minded enough to give one a good go!
