The guys at Dubbo fixed mine as quick as a flash, and without an arguement.
I am sussing out what can be done as a more reliable system. There is plenty of chromalloy stuff out there etc.
Sorry to hear it man.
Chook got his car back yesterday after getting the last Uni replaced (Plus drive axle blah! blah!) and then while doing nothing, this happens AGAIN!
I just don't get it!

I wonder if they have screwed up something as simple as the steering axis between the Uni and the Upper/lower ball joint???

Damn .... bad luck Tiny.

I wouldn't be too embarrassed about the terrain it broke in though ... the burrs in your lawn would be big enough to make pezz drag out his winch to get over them, if he ever comes visiting.

Did you make the most of it and tell the little bloke he'll be mowing the lawns for months to make up for it ....

My thoughts too Wooders, after reading all this and having seen where homdg popped his. Certainly sounds like something is going overcentre / beyond its limits.

In my honest opinion any damaged or broken original component on a jeep is a God sent!

Damn Valid excuse to fit a better component, Just explain to the "Boat anchor" how the aftermarket component is much better value for money than the original
