They're a copy of some that have been around for a while. I recon they look terrible They'd most-likely need modifying to work with rock rails and bars.

Prefer SRT style or factory Commander style, I still believe they could be made to fit the Grand.

I agree. Commander ones should work by just cutting them to match the contours of the WH panels. Or heating and shaping, but I recon that would mess the angles up.

I still have the SRT8 ones. They look unreal, but only had them on a couple of times. Treating them like gold while experimenting with ways to replicate them... also still need to get a couple of pieces that I'm missing.

Had a couple of wizards attempt fibreglassing them, but it's not practical. Too thin with sharp edges, they'd cost a bomb and wouldn't last long.
So just focusing on casting and moulding them, but with a simplified mounting side that can work without high-pressure injection moulding.

They still have the clearance issue though too. Can't tell in photos, but they 'shrink' the wheel arch slightly in some areas. My MTZs on the Pintlers would rip both rear ones off if I hit a dip at speed.

So my favourite idea ATM is to do a "flat" version from a soft skinning foam-rubber, which is just held to the panel contours by the tape/adhesive, and should allow them to be shifted a bit higher to clear the tyre. Could be a real PITA getting each piece to line-up nicely though.

Found a cheap set of Tail light Guards on eBay

Mild steel
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/311759677...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Stainless steel

I went mild steel so I can repair them if ever needed.
