to put something else into perspective i am currently sporting a bit over a 2" lift, more like a 2.5" lift, with badly balanced stock tyres, worn out steering dampener and absolutely NO caster correction.

all i have is a front end with aftermarket axle ball joints (poly synergy) and a heavy duty tie rod (currie).

I think the front end of these things is just On Edge. They do not tolerate the slightest bit of wear. Bad design.

SO after all the discussion, I am taking away the following points

1. Get the ball joints checked
2. Get the shocks checked
3. Get the bushes checked (again? Jeep were supposed to have done them)

and if this doesn't work then start looking at mounting points, or sell the pig to a dealer and let them deal with it.

At the end of the day its a bit embarasing when we take my girlfriends 15 year old carolla on long trips because we know it won't give us any troubles instead of the 2 yea old jeep.

Remove the trackbar - check the size of the holes and signs of elongation.
Remove the front axle LCA joints and check size and signs of elongation. (one at a time)
Check Tie Rod ends
Check Drag links ends
Check axle uni and C's

If you have the coin - change to heavy duty tie Rod and drag link and trackbar. May not be the cause this time, but may be next time. All the ball type joints int he front end are weak, so will fail eventually, especially if you have DW.

DW is a PITA when you you have it, but the Jk is such a great car to drive - u will regret if if you don't try and fix it.

Get a proper wheel alignment Fellas ! Did the Death wobble thing to death, easy fix

3mm Toe-out, that right 1.5mm aside and a regular wheel balance will keep you on the black stuff !

Dont buy all the Hype and bullshit, fix this try this, the front end is a big fuking design flaw, throw ya money out ya window supporting sponsors if ya feel like it.

Cheer Steve

I agree with Steve to a point. If you have properly worn components the wheel alignment will simply not fix it or even mask it. You need to find what is allowing that extra play. My hunch is a large number of wobbles come from the front right hand tyre. This is the one which suffers the most amount of wear in the tie rod end and the axle ball joints. I can't begin to count the number of stock JKs I see running around brisbane with their front right hand tyre leaning in at the top (worn ball joints).

If I can fix mine then anyone can fix theirs.

Unless you have worn components then the aforememtioned will do sqaut. What may have worked for you for your vehicle is not the answer for all. If that's what you did to fix it my guess is you never had dw but rather shimmy caused by poor alignment and balance.
You answer is ignorant on too many levels as it is well known that loose bolts, worn ball joints and stuffed bushes etc will cause dw regardless how well your geometry is setup and wheels balanced
