We got the new Jeep at around 4:00 pm on Tuesday. Many thanks to the people at Northern Motors who made the process as painless as possible. Getting my stuff off and out of the old Jeep in their yard took a few days.

I spent the evening fitting as much stuff in as I could. I managed to install the UHF, dashcam, GPS HUD, 7" tablet GPS, TPMS and phone cradle. I also swapped the 7 pin straight trailer plug for a 12 straight one.

At 4:00 am Wednesday I was driving to Mansfield and back to get a few kms up before collecting the camper trailer from Yarra Glen on the way back. I averaged 7.4 litres per 100 kms, which is not too bad for a hilly, windy run in a brand new car. We loaded the camper and were on the way to the North East by 2:00 pm.

Once we get home I will organize two Anderson plugs - one for the camper and one in the boot for the auxiliary battery plus the wiring for the cameras on the rear of the camper.

Cheers
Numb Thumbs

I thought the leaking hose tsb was drivers side down the front of the engine, accessed through the wheel well or something

The tsb was on the egr cooler hose p49 was the tsb code. It does look like the same hose. The tsb says the hose had may leak but perhaps they knew a dodgy batch of hoses were made and had the potential to split?

The TSB for EGR coolant weepage is http://wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0700314.pdf

Numb Thumbs was a bit more than coolant weepage. That could be the same hose as it states that it goes to heater core. Hard to even see the hose, would be an absolute B##ch to replace.

We'll follow your post and look forward to meeting you again. Planning on next HB trip late September.

Cheers, Chris & Ally.
Hi Chris, I have ordered the Trailhawk too. What is the technology pack? I didn't see that listed. I'm looking at the same aftermarket stuff too but not sure which fit the new front end and can take the adaptive cruise control. ARB are looking at one for someone with the 75th Aniv as it has the new front but there's no time line.
