Laredo owners, just then do Product ID before or after for the quick and dirty.
Bugger, just when I thought I was getting it all together.....must have missed this product ID procedure. What's involved in that?

OK, what I've done is zip the info page (pdf) and all the files I used to upgrade my maps, and will provide the link below. (436mb)
Thanks to Mousie's input, I also added info about activating a Larado's nav icon, which must be done before it will accept any maps/licences.

First, a caveat: These files did work with my '14 Overland, which already had maps, albeit 2012 vintage. Mousie has noted that each vehicle, each year model has variances that may prevent a file from doing what we expect it to do. So, while anyone is welcome to download and use the files, I can't give any guarantee that they will work on your car.
Having said that, You'll never know if ya don't try...

The rar file should unwrap to a folder, 'Map UPG Files', which, in turn, will have 7 sub-folders. In each sub-folder there is a single script.lua file that you use for a particular job. (Except for the 'Essentials' folder, which has some modified files to copy as you work thru the list.)
I've tried to colour-code as much as I can to make it a bit easier.

PLEASE READ the Introductory sentences, as they explain what we hope to achieve:

Have fun! If I can, I'll clarify anything not understood. I'm away from home atm, and can't monitor my emails very consistently, so be patient...

You're a legend Rob....and Mousie etc. I've gone a done the productid part but there is no nav icon.
My original productid reads in Notepad++ as in attached image. Note the weird NUL things at the end of the string. So I've changed the VP3 to VP4 and uploaded it but no nav icon. Should I delete those NUL things at the end?

No mate, those nul bits are part of the file. The only bit to change is the VP3 to VP4.
If you've changed to VP4, do another productid download to see if it is in fact reading as VP4. If so, then I'd reboot the system, as per the last paragraph in the info sheet.(pg.2) I know with mine, after I copied some of the files, I thought I'd lost my whole nav system, but after a couple of reboots, it came back. I think I read on the forum that some changes are slow to take up. Sometimes many ignition cycles before the system wakes up to the fact that something has changed.
So, download the productid again and check that it's reading VP4. Then reboot...
