We're don't make TJ drivers come into the thread and read this, harden the f^&k up and get some willpower, just don't open the thread. I'm sure if TJ's were still doing something randomly like this since new you would all just accept it as a perfectly normal regular service item because real men just accept sh*t workmanship tainting a good product.
Better yet, we should all write letters of praise to Jeep on how much these clips enhance our driving experience by getting us closer to nature crawling under the vehicle, and further recommend they be fitted to all Jeep models ASAP and even made as replacement parts to be retro fitted to previous models :P
$2 for how many clips over how many years?
I'm thinking this clip needs to be replaced with tie wire or a spot weld or something, any aftermarket suppliers going to start making some spring steel replacement clips? Anyone got a picture of one of these critters? I'm going to try order one this week just in case, if there are any in the country of course :P
Maybe the 4WD action guys couldn't fix it because the clip was gone, some things nowdays are practically designed to not be fixable with duct tape, fencing wire etc.
