Everybody just puts larger rubber on stock rims but they dont realise or dont want to know that if you push the rim out further towards the guard the problem of rubbing is reduced, especially when turning.
I kept the new rims at 8 inch but went wider 285 but i kept the profile at 60 which means I have a larger footprint than the 265 but I get to keep all the clearances at the same time. The stock offset is 54 and I went with 30 so it moves the rim away from the suspension strut and liner by 24mm
The stance is a lot tougher looking as well which is a bonus.......
