Just measured the height between the stupid stiffening beams on the garage door to the roof of my JKU (right at the back). Its 180 mm. Less 130, it leaves me a marginal 50mm for a lift.

I'll wait until the rack is on before ordering the lift kit. Or better still change the garage door.

Default What have you done to your JK this week?

Had the rear battery and IBS installed today, they didn't put in the Anderson plug, fridge plug or USB plugs, means I gotta go back again but at least the wiring is in, gonna check tonight that that actually put in the yellow top optima, got a funny feeling considering everything else on the quote was wrong, oh well

.

The difference between theory and practice is, in theory there is no difference...

Just note that sometimes a 50mm lift can give you an actual lift of greater than 50mm. Such is the case with my AEV lift. I'd hate to think your measuring will all be wasted (unless you buy a new house too).
The garage clearance is exactly why I have to stick to 33s and not go to 35s.

Once the roof rack is on; this weekend hopefully; I'll do final measurements and then speak to SBR offroad

I'm the same. Damn garage. Might have to look in to cost of getting my house lifted......

Just air down each time you want to park in your garage.
