I also wonder how you would go with a rego inspection with a tint applied to the windscreen? Tinting is definitely not allowed - tinted glass can be used, with a Visible Light Transparency of greater than 75%.

Thats of course only if any one ever picks it up!

I must admit though I would love some form of tinting on my work car windscreen as its a very long sloped screen and legs get burnt driving around all day.

Finally mounted my iPad cradle to the grab bar. I think it turned out great.

It is a 70% VLT ceramic film, so technically illegal, however, you can't really see that it is there unless dusk, where the screen does look a tad darker. Still works fine with GPS and cell phones etc.

I had my mobile tinter come out, he's done heaps of cars for me and my partner. Basically the only difference between this film and the "normal" metalized film was that this is GPS friendly being ceramic. I would assume most tinters have access to these types of films.
