Thanks for that this will work much better than trying to get 2 colours with PlastiDip. Did you do the full panel with the red then the smaller black over it or is the red just on the sides.

yeah powersteering is ok

will look into the solenoid you speak of, even getting from Rock Auto or Moparover stock would be a good option rather than Jeep Australia

the hydrofan solenoid can get to through drivers side , and do you use correct fluid in the whole system ?
oh maybe that's why I bought a steel made power steer pump rather than the alloy
