got stuck into my trailer plug today as trailer lights have never worked properly, but recently it has been blowing fuses and getting annoying,
after rewireing the whole plug and loom the last wire i noticed that the brake wire and the earth wire where tapped into the same wire, one near the light socket and the other higher in the loom.
wonder what tool wired that up????
who also twitches a power wire and just puts tape on it and the tape wears through and touches the body of the car.

so after 7yrs trailer lights now work correctly
these things take time.

I,ve been runnin one a those for a while now Dudzy,it also allows me to use a front XJ d/shaft on the rear as well.I got a third shaft and just bought a new 1310 d/cardan centering kit and new solid uni,s so i now have a reconditioned shaft as a spare that,ll fit front or rear.If your gunna fit a front shaft in the rear make sure it,s a 96 or lower, i bought a 97 shaft but they,re the wrong length by app 80mm.
