Throughout the last days I put some short videos together. The long one will have to wait a couple of evenings, been a bit busy lately.

We had a very slippery and muddy Sunday last week.

We were driving down a little hill, gaining little bit too much speed. After some point the Jeep started to slide to the right. At this point I lost all steering control and just tried to slow down the vehicle.

Unfortunately it was not enough to prevent the Jeep from going over the bank . And to make it even worse, a huge hole to our right appeared, where we were exactly sliding to. As soon we started to drop into the hole, I turned hard right and accelerated to prevent from rolling.

Well learned from the mistake, fortunately not the hardest way, almost rolled :/

We had our Action Cam running, here is the video.

So over the weekend I did Sappers Track. Loving my JKU!

Got to the end and although I was hesitant, I chanced the water crossing.
Walked the crossing 3 times. The level was just over knee high which is just above the JKUs wheel.

Sappers Track Crossing

I think this crossing initially looks bad as the water comes over the bonnet, but the speed I'm crossing at pushes the water away. Sure a bit will get in the engine bay, but I don't think its enough to flood the intake.

Yes, I need snorkel I know. I did not go out to look for water to cross and this is not something I'd do every time.

Anyway, by the next time I go out I will most likely have a snorkel fitted anyway.
