Believe it or not it actualy did come up around 40mm at the front and 50 at the rear.

(i'd post a pic of the 'other' car in the yard, but that would be uncool here )

so it's not wild, it still gets us out and about on occasion, and every now and then we take out both 4bys for a run.

I still have a plan to tidy up the bull bar/flare situation... one day
What front bar is that? Looks like an ARB winch bar with the top cut off? Looks cool.

you are spot on.

Our good friends at Jeeprecyclers, had one that the previous owner had put on its roof and bent the top tubes.

I picked it up, organised some new mounts, chopped off the bars, had it powdercoated... total cost was probably $250...

I was very happy with the result, but would really like to tidy up where it should meet the flare.

cheers

Hi mate, yes I did the barwork. I made it from an old GQ Patrol bar and cut it to peices! I then grafted the original alloy nudge bar to the top. I'll be making up a rear bar one day, once I cut the back off to convert it to a ute. I also made the entire control arm assembly, including the crossmember that it attaches to and the panhard rod and bracing. As you would know..Once you start, it's hard to stop!

Heres the ol girl with the lift kit in and fully loaded up- pretty stoked with the RE kit-it all worked well- only afew minor adjustments to make but it did pretty well considering the shake down was 3500kms offroad on the cape!(time was not on my side ).
