Installed the battery isolator and ran the cable to the battery in the back. Left myself short on the battery cable (doh!), so still need to run cable from the start battery to the isolator. Tested good with jump cables.

Went with a Projecta. Unit is a lot bigger than I expected it to be.

Finished it today.

Sourced a replacement intake manifold, put everything back together, started up and ran though had a misfire...narrowed it down to vacuum leak at the manifold gasket on cylinder 6...turns out the intake manifold is fouling on the exhaust manifold...sigh. Took it all apart today, have just finished hammering a dent into the exhaust tube for cylinder 6, just need to double check its not fouling anymore and put it back together...again...

back together, running better...loud whistle at idle, pretty sure there is still a slight vacuum leak at the gasket, prob because I removed and replaced the intake and it messed up the sealant and gasket. Still better than what it was. I'll replace the gasket through the week or next weekend
