There is a little pipe on the fire wall that goes underneath the manifold they can snap if accidently forced and you may not even know it broken until you look.

my 1996 xj so far as done a trip up the noosa north shore, on high tide, and driven to work twice, 260km so far and just used half a tank, thats on caltex 98, prity good i think,

Depends how much you put in. The tank is 80l? maybe a tad more. If u fill it until the pump stops its usually around 60l but if u go slow u can usually get another 20l in

it actuly took exactly 70L from fuel light and under the e line. i most iv ever put in was 72L

The stock tank is 76 litres or 20 USgal...

Where is this little pipe AG, I've never seen a line under the manifold on any of my Xj's or Zg's???
