ok design is done. If you want changes let me know now

see CAD pic below

I'm going to America in a week and a half for 3 weeks so nothing is going to happen for the next month.

so if I get 10 people to email me at

faindustries7@gmail.com

ready to put a $300 deposit down (payable in july) then I'll proceed with the prototype, fitment test and then crash testing.

once crash testing is confirmed I will make the rest of the bars. This will probably be around Sept, depending on how long the testing takes (can take weeks to get in)

thinking the standard powder coat will be a textured black rather than a smooth satin black, but if you want another colour that can be arranged.

I'm estimating pricing to be around the $2000 mark each to cover for design and testing for this small batch.

let me know what you think

Looking good YankeeDave!

Bit of a n00b question... even though you haven't done a fitment test yet (obviously) I was just curious if you had any idea how it will fit with the original bumper. Will it be a complete removal and trim of the front wheel arches with only the indicator lights remaining and the steel bar fitting the gaps neatly... or do you think you'll need to cut up the original bumper and re-fit parts to fill in the gaps between the steel bar and body similar to what BTaylor218 and others did with the TJM-17 bars?

I'm not the most mechanically minded so just trying to get a sense of what the workload would be to fit it.

This is a full bumper replacement, proper winch bull bar

as in
1. remove your stock front plastic bumper
2. install winch cradel (will involve drilling into your frame)
3. remove indicator lights from stock bumper
3. fit bullbar to winch cradel (bolt on)
4. cut trim over wheel archs
5. fit stock indicators to bullbar

It's looking good YankeeDave, but would it be possible to have an intergraded indicator into the bullbar instead of using the original ones bolted to the top? Just my 2 cents worth and putting it out there to see what others think.

Also are those 4 bolts on either side of the bar for tow hooks or can that be made for a chassis mounted tow hitch like the premium steel bar at Powerfull 4x4? Or am I asking for too much now? What do the rest of yous think?

Cheers Vlad...
