IMHO you'd be hard pressed to find one Aussie who'd be a sore loser...if it had been a fair loss. But hell even now I'm not sore, just bitterly disappointed/heartbroken.

After 93 minutes of brilliant football from both sides, some brilliant saves in goal, some of the best defence and offence I've seen Australia ever play, for it to come down to such a questionable call is heartbreaking.

Why didn't the ref play advantage? He must have known it was seconds away from over-time...it was an extremely questionable call - replays only highlight that fact. Considering how many other blantant fouls had been missed (during the match and during the entire tournament) to have our progress stopped because of a call like that...

IMHO we very seriously could have beaten Ukraine which would have meant a place in the final 4. Considering we'd never scored a goal in the World Cup before that would have been one hell of a coup...

But that's football (soccer) and that's why I love it...bring on South Africa!

billsta, you are so right about that. Seven and Nine have been braking their footys to get on the bandwagon. Who will be showing it in 4 years time? SBS picked it up because noone wanted it, if it goes to a bidding war FIFA could not give a toss about it, they will sell to the highest bidder.
SBS used to show bike racing until Wanye Gardener, and F1 until Alan Jones.
