Don't know if anyone can help a pommie, but i'm having the same problem trying to find if i have the DPF fitted to my 2007 Diesel JK.
I've took some pictures of the exhaust, i can't see it, unless it's the round black item attached to the exhaust in picture 4?

billyonemate your jk looks the same as my jk 07 diesel. there is no sign of a dpf on yours either. if you check a few posts back, there are a couple of thumbnails of the exhaust system showing the dpf. according to those diagrams you don't have one. cheers.

not too cheap mate. stick with a fully synthetic as the oil change interval is 10k and the oil works hard in a diesel. something like Penrite HPR-5 would suit, just as an example. but there are heaps of others.

don't know if it helps as far as getting replacement parts but there is a VM place just does the road from where i live. Dont know how common a VM workshop is but i have only seen one
