Well after having owned the Jeep for 2 years I finally got around to setting it up for towing our van. Took it on it's first trip on the weekend. I normally tow with my Pajero which is better setup for towing and travel (long range tank, upgraded suspension, etc) and when comparing the 2, the Jeep has A LOT more power and pulls the van easily (2800kg). I used a WDH which I don't use on my Pajero anymore, but even then the Jeep felt a bit "soft and floaty" by comparison to my Pajero. So I think if the Jeep is going to be my long term tow vehicle, a suspension upgrade will be on the cards. Along with changing the 20" tyres to 18" AT's.

Would be good to get a few Jeeps along too [emoji106]

Yes, I’d be keen, it just depends on date and what’s on that weekend. Let me know Grippy.

Yeah not 100% sure on the dates yet, possibly mid week, due to school holidays

Me again, doesn't seem to be much action in this thread.
Anyhow, went for a bit of a burn today, turned into 500k's, found a few nice tracks, one through Mt Bryan and Caroona Creek Conservation Pk. I did get hopelessly farkin lost leaving the other end of Caroona Pk, Google Maps took me out into the middle of the scrub on some farm tracks, ended up fuck knows where next to a stock watering trough, haha.
Also a bit of a play at World's End on the way back.

This is a vid, click it, the little hill climbs were much steeper than it looks in the GoPro footage, would have taken much more, however I forgot to charge the sucker before I left and it had zero bars
