Hehe I didn't wash it. I used 3 cans of brake cleaner to spray all the grime off.

Used 2 cans of zinc it primer, used 3 cans/2 coats of acrylic black paint.

Just waiting to get my jeep back 1st so I can put it on.

Default XJ Video - Levuka Highligts Easter 2012
Today I sat and looked at my XJ and considered the next round of mods ... and watched my latest video from TeamBray's trip to Levuka 4x4 Park this Easter long weekend.


My wife (Teachermum) is in her shiny White GU now with ARB steel all around it. Wow, did she do well !!

This 3 min version shows some of the cool stuff you can get up when you're just out to have a good time. We're no experts but we got through some tough stuff with nothing more than a few bush pin stripes.

3 weeks ago it was bog standard.
Westside 4x4 did the OME suspension, long travel front shocks, new bump stops plus extensions, transmission spacer, rear spring spacer, JKS quicker disconnects, front ARB locker.30" KUHMO KL71s. Havent needed front Locker yet, that would have indicated defeat in to the Patrol drivers.

First impression... it wish it were higher with bigger rubber. Diff hung up a bit, my centre is 20mm lower than the wife's GU.... I can't live with that.
