Tried to finish my dual fans today but two things stopped me from doing it.
1. Hack saw I borrowed had a blade which doesn't seem to like the stainless shaft. So I temporarily soldered the wiring for the second fan together so it can wait til the weekend.
2. Finally finished the wiring in-car to find that the oem fan wants to run on battery power without ignition. Will check over all my wiring to make sure I didn't do something wrong...
Hopefully I can at least get the wiring sorted tomorrow night so the mrs can take our daughter to preschool on Friday (short trip, at least want the oem fan on full time with ignition)

Sounds like you're having some dramas there with this...
I have now fitted my Auto-OFF-High switch into the circuit so now I can take control of the fans if need be....
