Not raining on the northside. I would have thought the dull weather would have enhanced the picture with the soft lighting.

Finally my new over run clutch for my starter arrived. Australia post have a lot to answer for. Their call center is useless.
Only took me 1 1/2 hrs to re-assemble the starter & put it back in the jeep.
worked a treat.
Any one wanting parts for starters etc may wish to have a look at autospark, they are Greek, they do have a lot of hard to get auto electric bits.
Repco & bosch aust had no listing on the part I wanted. Interesting given its a bosch starter.
Its good to have it back starting reliably. Had got to the stage of about 50 tries to get the starter to turn the engine.

Stayed up late last night putting things back together only to find the power steering pump pulley touching the fan motor due to busted engine mount. Was hoping to leave the mount til the cylinder head swap but it's now brought forward til tomorrow morning to get it back on the road in the interim. only needs to come up about 10-15mm which its dropped at the very least due to the evidence of the old fan taking chunks out of the fan shroud at the bottom.

Electrics all fine (37/37a relay mixup from batt) and clutch fan pulley removed ok, managed to do it with the angle grinder/cutting wheel after all - the hack saw blades i bought were useless at cutting through the bearing.

Fingers crossed no more dramas tomorrow - need to look after the kids!

Bugga,

That would actually be a pretty exciting thing to happen to me - one of those dreams to have your ride in a mag
