Just spent a couple of days away fishing.

I bogged the GC on a patch of really soft sand getting off the beach which I've never had happen here before. My recovery boards weren't doing the job as they have been worn down by helping others.

It was too soft for the Colorado to snatch me out as it was getting bogged as well. Thankfully another set of boards got us out so I just ordered a set of Tred Pro boards.

quite simply don't use your boards on cars stuck who you don't know. there should be no need to spin the tyres if recovered properly. If people can't go out equipped right they need to learn an expensive lesson.

Sometimes people just get stuck and need a hand. It's hard to explain to some that there is no need to spin the wheels on traction boards but it happens. Even when used properly, they do wear and don't last forever.

There are idiots out there and I won't help them but more often than not, it's just someone that despite doing their best aren't educated about sand driving. How are they to learn, if everybody just drives past them laughing saying that'll teach them?

Maxtrax have the replaceable teeth on their top model. They aren't cheap but if you are using them regularly then they'd pay for themselves soon enough.
