Bathurst Jeep have an update on their computer for my VIN for the latest N23 update.
Will fit my original FDCM before they see my Grand for the key recall & let them flash it.

Clarky, Do you know the reference for this latest N23 update?

In relation to recent issues I had and work carried out, I had discussions with customer service in relation to the complaint I made to FCA's CEO about the failure of a permanent fix for my vehicle in relation to the N23 issue, as a result of the discussions I was requested to send the wiTech results to them and the issue was going to be taken up with their tech people in Melbourne.

Just curious that this update might be a result of this.

The new update is the P73 update, but going from reports from the guys in the states, it is still having problems, so don't get it done thinking it is going to fix everything.

I had the P73 recall performed on 09.07.15 when I had booked the vehicle in with the "service 4x4 light on". The interesting thing is that it was a recall dated 19.05.15 but I never received any recall notice.

The note on the service invoice stated: Carried out outstanding recall as per notice P73

Anyway you're right it wasn't a permanent fix, on 13.11.15 I had the service light come on...so it didn't last long

Well had the latest N23 flash done, got home and engaged low range, no problem.
"Oh what a feeling", saved pulling the fuse, I will check it and report if it fails.

Default P73 Done - high hopes!

Had P73 and ignition switch recall done yesterday at Salisbury. 4WD still works and I have high hopes. I had already checked all the wiring & terminals, finding no problem. If it fails again I will fit a UMM1245 actuator from the US. Can't see anything different with the ignition switch. Perhaps that is for the best given the N23 experience!
