I did something bad....
I went and got myself some Platinum Cloud Sheep Skin seat covers.
The seats are so much more comfortable now, not to mention the headrest having some padding is heaven!.

If I go bush bashing I am going to have to come up with some plastic protectors tho

I don't have a lot of aptitude for mechanical things, but I'm lucky to be good mates with a truckie who has a big shed and a lot of tools, and is a fellow JK owner

Had noticed that my ARB bar was starting to get a bit faded and had a small amount of rust coming through on the bottom.

So demounted and stripped it, rubbed it back and chipped the rust out then and had a go at painting it with matte black plasti-dip. Fitted a spare mounting plate as a replacement bar while it dried overnight. Much prefer the look of a short bar

Looks good! What brand light bar mount are you using?

So, finally did something I first figured out was needed back in May.
I had bought the Smittybilt Cargo Net (CRES) for the back end for summer use, but not yet fitted it.
Aside from being a bitch to fit - cold, inside at night - following the instructions I just couldn't make sense of it.
It wouldnt fit to the top of the rear (4dr) door frame.

Turns out at some point, some extra bits were added to the window frame, to form a gutter of sorts. Wasnt a complete design change, as you could see the 'add-on' went exactly where the CRES needs to fit. And was stapled in.

Staples were in tight, and not going to budge.
Tonight I decided to give it a shot.
Enter: heat source and screwdriver.

I used an old soldering station I still havent junked. I also tried not to breath the fumes.

Fruju

TJM
Mitchell Bros in Brookvale, NSW
Both about $900

Check first with them as I had problems lining up the holes (got most done). They were talking to TJM to check.
