if I was starting from scratch I would consider mounting a Blue Sea M-ACR 7601 charging relay beside the main battery (or under the bonnet) and feeding a Lithium aux battery with at least 6 B&S cable. No need for a DC-DC charger.
Using the Blue Sea M-ACR would limit the charge to 65A and the voltage to 14.2 (alternator limit) which would suit the lithium perfectly.
At around $130 using one of these would provide main battery protection and fast charging with significant weight and cost advantages.

This is great info thanks as I’m just in the process of purchasing for my setup

Would you wire the acr straight of the jump post in the engine bay and also where would grab the starter signal from as don’t these have an isolator on start up? I might be mistaken .

Simon if you planned to go straight to lithium you'd have to do a bit of homework as to how the ACR deals with the lithium coming to full charge.
They operate differently to lead acid in that there is no absorption phase, they simply arrive at full charge. It's possible it may conflict with the main battery being AGM..
I've not gone into detail because my Enerdrive DC2DC has a Lithium profile that has worked perfectly..

Sounds good, one question, why did you have the isolator between the min battery and the dc dc charger.... I thought you can connect the dc dc charger direct to the battery.
