Honestly ? Something else to go wrong, not to mention rattle / wear out.

Every time I take that swaybar off then put it back on after wheeling, I know the KJs' going to drive exactly the same as it did before. I dont mind taking that extra 1 miniute in pulling it off then another miniute putting it back on.
I've done it that many times now that i'm sure I could get it done quicker than someone would fiddling around with the JKS disco's

for sure, see you at Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooffs. You bringing the coffee machine or am I going to have to bring my plunger

Removing the stabilizer is great because you don't have to worry about the ABS sensors being ripped off if your swaybar tie-offs break!

Downside .. getting the thing in the back requires excessive brain power not brawn to prevent it scratching all our lovely plactic!

3 1/2" lift, Coopers STs, No swaybar, about 18psi and a light foot on the throttle only ground clearance will stop you! THEN YOU PUT IN THE BOOT!

OK. I will bring the coffee machine if you show me how to disconnect the swaybar. What's it like when you are on the road after a trip or do you replace the swaybar straight away?

heh, its actually not that different at all, just ultra smooth over kurbs & bumps ect. I'd driven around plenty with it removed, Ormeau & back, Landcruiser ect, nothing that bad. I'f you've ever driven a pre 2001 Range Rover you'd know what its like.

No problems with showing you how to remove it at Coffs :P!

Default Moore River WA 1/4/07

A short trip to Moore River for a bit of a look and a paddle in the water by Wilmo, cjthuys and KJ Renegade. A fun time had by all, not particularly challenging but at least we can say we've been there.
