Maybe... lol My dad was good to me and gave me the Patrol in a trade.. more reliable.. yadayada.. Ok i said, had it 5 weeks and wanted to start the 4" lift so i said, while the mavericks in parts up the drive, can i borrow the Jeep for a DD. He said yeh np's. This was when the jeep was outta rego. sat up his drive for those 5 Weeks and never got ran. (only needs a 4wd for the yacth which is mored anyways. So 2 weeks later, and the mavericks all running again with 3" so far done and the jeeps still in my front yard alone with the Mazda 3, Dihatsu 2cly thingo, Ford Laser, Porsche 928s, and the Maverick.. LOL and he said.. You can have it. so i got both now i spose. He will still want it back but i mean its mine asmuch as his and who ever needs it can have it.

i have the best dad!

Gildo So why not make the whole cupholder outta diamond plate?
i use this cupholder for cold cans of Coke as well as coffee and considered doing exactly that so i did some research on the net:
scientific studies conducted by the CCSAE (Custom Cupholders Society of Automotive Engineers) concluded that even with extreme window tinting heat transfer radiated onto an aluminum cupholder wih a mass of .0934g, 2mm thick and a height of 40mm on a 35 degree day would raise the temperature in the cool can (with a starting temp of -4*) approximately 10 degrees every 12.6 minutes accelerating the process of thermal heat transfer absorption proportionally throughout the consumption process as the can was slowly consumed. Coke drinkers were timed on how fast they drank a 375ml can and the conclusion was that metal-based cupholders would render the cool liquid non drinkable within 23 minutes (the point at which most Coke drinkers throw away whatever remains). However BEER has a lower specific gravity than Coke and takes a bit longer to warm up...studies worldwide have concluded that once 2 or 3 cans have been consumed the average beer drinker doesnt really give a sh*t how warm the beer is (assuming a liquor store is not within eyesight). But it would work great for coffee! (I cant believe I had to get out a ruler and a can of Coke to write this!)
