Default Litres per 100

Mine averages 14-15L/100Km around town and about 12L/100Km if I keep the rpm under 2K.

Running 35s, 4.56 gear, lift, bars alround, long range tank so plenty of weight on board and Jenny Craig cant help me Im afraid...

Talking

Hi All,
13.4l/100km. JK-2009 9900km. OK I've been a bit naughty, I admit it!!, it's nice to have some horses under the bonnet though..come on!!!

Jokes aside it's been a bit heavy since I got it. Done 10k service on monday, will have to fill-up and check again..

Obviously, city driving with aircon does nothing good for fuel economy. Nevertheless, I'm loving my Jeep!!

regards to all

I have found that the secret to good fuel consumption on the highway is to use cruise control...

4 week / 1300km old beast, cruising for 30km along the beach up the Noosa North shore yesterday it dropped to 11.6L/100km. Mind you, it was a very low tide and much smoother than the freeway and since its max 80km/h it was sitting pretty much in its element for fuel economy. Tyres were low though as had dropped them to 22psi before I hit the beach.

Averaged 11.9 for the whole trip, including the run up and back on the main beach stuffing around on Rainbow Beach for a while on nice soft sand, and then a trip back along the Freshawater track (bout 18km from memory of first and second gear).

Round town averages 11.9 to 12.1. 100km/hr Highway travel with tail wind it dropped to 9.8, travelling back the same road 1/2 later at the same speed (now with headwind) was at 10.9.... !!

I should add that I reset the gauge every time I fill up (too used to my work car that resets automatically if not being driven for more then 4 hours)

Pretty constant around 12.9 - 13.1 ........ 600kms out of a tank ....
That's around 20kms highway into town each day and then some light running around town some days. It's a 2007 CRD running 35's.
Keen to look at a chip in the next 6 months ....
