Should we have to pay to have it checked out/reprogrammed?
Last time i asked my local dealer they wanted $100 just to diagnose the problem!!.
I left it alone till the next service and they then did something 'free' which fixed it, at least temporarily ( I haven't tried low range for a while, so dunno if its working or not!)

Yes the P73 is applicable here in Oz, but the actual P73 is not an updated software fix. It is a letter to Chrysler that the N23 must be performed exactly as per the Chrysler Service Bulletin 21-022-14 REV. A, dated July 29, 2014.
I had my N23 done to the letter of the Chrysler Service Bulletin 21-022-14 REV. A, dated July 29, 2014, and I watched and made sure they did it step by step exactly as the update says.
To clarify. The P73 was a customer service notice to have the N23 recall done so are the same thing. You do not need to have P73 done if your 4low is working properly.
Its been well over a year now and I still have 4low and have not had any problems (touch wood).
I still have my pre-N23 FDCM with me everywhere I go though.
