Might sound like a stupid question, but does anybody know if the mopar front bar available through Australian dealers is actually ADR compliant? I'm NOT assuming that they have to be in order to be offered for sale in Oz (just like most of the bars on this thread), but I only want ADR compliant.

Back in 2010 I called Jeep HQ and spoke to a laddy that handles aftermarket parts for Jeep Aust. She stated that all mopar bars sold by Jeep are ADR compliant etc... She stated if there was ever an issue with an accident etc... police involved/inquest etc... paperwork would be supplied to the individual to state the fact...

I think many many moons ago there was a thread or something and I posted the same along with a contact ph at Jeep HQ and a name... Was a very long time ago..

Hey guys, so finally I've fitted my new goodies to my baby. Allow me to introduce you to my new Smittybilt Atlas front bar:

The install was pretty straight forward and no real issues along the way. It's funny, the winch is attached to a winch plate, so you could remove the front bar and run around in a bare-boned stubby if you wanted to, it wouldn't be legal, but meh, there is a cool factor. I've attached a photo below:

Anyway, I'm really happy with it, big thank you to JeepKonection for hooking me up
