Thought about them but been reading a lot of stories about the sidewall spliting, I'll go have a look though, thinking BFG KM2 at the moment.

Oh I haven't heard anything negative about the sidewall but I haven't really looked since I bought them. I will say I haven't had any issues at speed on the black stuff or low pressures on mud/rocks though

Went to by another set of Bighorns today after much deliberation, walked away with nothing as the only set of 35's is in WA and Maxxis wont ship them back to NSW (no surprise there). Now I need to think some more overnight and order something else tomorrow..... what a pain making tyre decisions

Cheers
Steve

Rebuilt my front tailshaft today in an effort to rid the car of a vibration that comes in at around 95 and is worse at 105.
Originally I thought it was due to the front pinion angle but that was incorrect, tried two different front shafts and get the exact same result, so I removed it altogether and took it for a run, much less noticable but still very slightly there.

So on I go trying to sort it out, I might try another set of wheels and tyres and see if that changes anything.

Any other suggestions?

Does anybody know if front hubs can introduce a vibration?

Otherwise I am thinking it may be something in the front diff, I had a similar (but worse) issue last year at the same speed and it turned out to be the pinion preload was incorrect, can't remember if it did it at all with no tailshaft fitted though....

Thought about the Maxxis Trepador? I have heard some good things about these and if they made them in 32s I would probably be running them on my car. A friend is on his second set of KM2s and reckons they are a great balance(his is a daily driver).

I would have thought that a hub or ball joint could give some odd vibes when getting tired, one side of mine was pretty well stuffed and the wheel was wobbling around all over the place, didnt know till I drove alongside it when someone else driving it.
