I don't think they updated their prices properly. Previous price was $99.99 for single set and $199.99 for two. New prices are US$125.99 for single and $249.99 for both. http://www.wranglerforum.com/f123/ne...ts-947569.html

watched that video, that Teraflex Ball Joint looks the goods! I had Dyntrac Pro Steer B/J's and the Heim Balls they use wore and didnt pass a RWC so i had to replace 2 of the 4 Balls, they were so expensive at a local bearing supplier i could of just bought a complete set of synergy B/J's!
Time wise to repair the Prosteers i would of been much better off just to replace them, but being they were initially quite expensive (i think $800-$900) i went ahead to repair them for another life.
The main issue i found with the Prosteers in the Lower B/J's was not a good grease passage, I had to drill i tiny hole in the B/J Cap so there would be grease flowing around the Heim Ball (which wasn't occurring) the trick was to jack the car so the weight was off the Lower B/J before trying to pump grease. Dynatrac have made changes now i see but I'd definitely look at Teraflex now.

On the Teraflex vid is shows that the upper ball joint is designed to allow up/down movement as it is to control lateral stability whereas the lower joint takes the weight of the JK and is therefore controlling vertical movement.
What are peoples thoughts on this?
Is it a good idea to have some vertical movement allowed in the the upper joint?

thats the design of them Paul, all of them on a JK stock included! they require the top to slide vertically during installation to take up inconsistencies in the distance between the axel 'C'

RE: Pro Steers again the vertical movement was reliant on the Heim Ball Slipping on the shaft, as this was a tight fit on one side (think it was drivers side) the top B/J lifted up out of its press fit in the 'C' ! so while repairing the B/J's the Balls had to be pressed off and the top shaft, shaft cleaned enough to allow the ball vertical movement.
