Catches look great are pretty easy to install once you loosen off the grill and pull it back a couple of inches.

Thanks for the heads up drew on moving the grille. Snowing I just ordered the ball joints because I know I had to replace them sooner or later. Mine has only done 8k, but slight movement has been found in one joint.

Should be no slop between the ball and the socket inside the ball joint. Original jk units had plastic linings and short life spans,
Go synergy, they are US made. Alloys?taiwan maybe?

No worries just remove the 7 or 8 plastic push in screw lock things from the top of the grille under the bonnet and then the rest of the grille is held in by clips just pull on it directly forward. Think theres clips by each indicator and 3 or 5 along the bottom just below the grille slots.

I also pulled apart all the cross pins, 3 per latch and loctited them, mine were barely tight and don't want them vibrating loose.

It's a bit hit and miss on the balljoints, I've done a 113,000ks and still on the original balljoints but know they've gotta be on their last legs so got new ones just in case.

Yes the alloy's are made in Taiwan, but come with a 5 year warranty so should be all good
