scored a free roof basket! It's on the heavy side, weighs 25kg or so. but with the way it mounts fits perfectly on the curved rails. I'm guessing those factory roof rails are only rated to 50kg or so combined?

Also got an electric brake controller so I can tow the old mans camper trailer

Today I bought a pair of front doors from an update with the view of fitting the full sliding glass as well as the larger mirrors.
It shall be interesting to see how hard this mod will be when I get to it....

Scored the front gears needed for my ratio swap today thanks to mudmonster, what a champion.

Now I gotta get a little Sigma regoed so I can get stuck into the XJ's diffs.

Will be interesting to see how you go with this, but I do like the sound of the full window glass.

A couple of weeks ago my XJ got full transmission service including both diffs and front pinion seal, week before that bottom radiator hose began leaking. Wasn't going to tackle that one by myself. Will need to invest in a new rear diff cover though, seems to leak abit until it gets down to a certain level.

Currently waiting on a couple of extra leafs for the rear. Need to increase my payload as I have recently bought a hard floor camper trailer and the XJ really sits down with it hooked up. Am super stoked with how well it tows though.

Took my grey XJ for a proper drive yesterday. Went to a local state forest with a couple of mates..........about six GQs & GUs with a few turbos ans V8s and mostly locked. Didn't outdo 'em, but I didn't look silly. 4", 33s, front lockright, 4.1s, etc..
