Ordered RE lower CA's yesterday. Decided against the IRO ones as the RE's have a flex joint. . Thinking of pulling the carpet out today and giving it a wash. #### knows I can't get to work so might as well not spend time watching the box. I was going to get a carpet cleaner person to do it but probably need to stop spending money on the XJ. Man the aftermath of the Jambo Pilgramige on the XJ is living up to the acronym at the present J-E-E-P.

Personally I like the fact that the IRO arms use the OEM bushes, the RE's will most likely flex more though...

I have had a set of each, stayed with the IRO units for my requirements I felt that they were more suitable...

Put a 15a fuse back in there and bingo, shit works again. Going to double check the FSM for 97 and 99 tonight as mine is a 98 model and make sure the rest are right... Good one Jeep!

Haha me to but windscreen wipers and power windows no fuse marked but they had a place to go damn jeep manual lol all fun just something I'm learning being a fresh xj owner and fresh to jeep but hey all in all looks like a good rig

Yerr I was in two minds and the salesman ended up convincing me to go with RE arms . I did like the IRO as they had a bend and the bushes. But like you say JJ the RE's will flex more, which for my level of driving will most likely be overkill .

On another note I have since washed my carpet. I did not have access to a Karcher so I used a a pressure nozzle on the hose. Fortunatly my mothers house has unusually high pressure at the tap. I used a box of washing powder and some CT18 on the tough stains. Plenty of mud came out from the drowning. I was surprised to see that the carpet was still wet underneath from six weeks ago. While I was at it I did the same trick on the rear seat cushion. I was presently surprised to see that the cover unclips. So now the XJ is fully clean inside. I even febreezed it to get rid of the odours from the dog. Yesterday I also spent 3-4hrs removing overspray from my painting the caravan; dman surprising how far the spray will drift. I covered most of the XJ but thought surely it could not get to where it did??
