Fitted new front hubs. Can almost start spending money on myself again rather than maintenance!

Front axle has been completed and now fitted. Man an expensive exercise. If that one in Qld for $650 is still for sale I would recommend someone jumping on it. Mine cost over $1400 to do the job without a locker and three weeks off the road .
While I was at it I have installed RE fixed lower CA's. Now all I need is my outer axle seals and steering damper to arrive and should be pretty much finished up front. Only thing I may need to do is elongate the left shim bracket so I can get some extra caster on that side. The problem is taht the after market mounts are about 15mm shorter than stock. The axle currently is sitting a little to far rearward to my liking so I reckon another 7-10mm should sort that out. But at least I can now drive it. I can also go out and work today, yeer har.

Regards A

AG thats not good with the new brackets being shorter especially with fixed arms, adjustables would have been the go, what brackets did you get for them to be shorter?

Wooders, HD brackets. I did consider adjustable arms but could not source them in time. I really needed something ASAP. Three weeks off the road was long enough. It is a little annoying the brackets are closer to the diff housing than stock but the design of the new CA's means they do not bind and hit anywhere on the bracket or housing. What it does mean is I need more adjustment so that the bump stop sits centre at ride height. At a guess, ATM it sits about 6-8mm forward.

Yerr could have but the salesman talked me into gettting RE arms with flex joints. The adjustable RE's were out of stock.
