Today I finally got to spend a little time on my Xj instead of working on wrecks...

So I figured that I would put some paint on the chassis braces that I made...



Came up ok, I will hit them with some under body deadener for some extra rust resistance before installation....

pulled the trans out of the jeep today. I hate torx headed bolts !!
Will remove the adapter tomorrow arvo & hopefully find the oil leak I have.

ive just installed the re flex joints arms i got off ozjeepster and am very happy with them. flexs alot better and my rattle in the front end is now gone

Haha it's a jeep thing

I did all the grease whosies today, they were full of mud

Plus I have an irreparable exhaust leak...

a part from the 2 top bell housing bolts (torx) I had it done in under 1hr 45 min.
It looks like the starter bolts have to come out. Can get at from behind though.
Will be interesting to see the back of the block.

No such thing as an irreparable exhaust leak !!
Just spend lots of time in the mud & let the mud seal it !!
Have used drink cans a few times.
