bally, be careful.. there might be a reason it has broken. what can happen is the busch on the shaft that rotated the sensor can flog out and it will just break another sensor if this is the case. if that happens then your best bet is to ring wooders or the wreckers or someone and get a new shaft. to reset the timing there is two tiny holes on the top of the sensor(plastic cover off) put a pin through both so they line up and you good to go.
