On a slightly different note... why is it that when my meter says 10km/s to empty i can only get 60 litres into the tank and that is all the way up to overflowing! its a 2002 3/.7l guzzla... are the guages that wrong?

i keep meaning to put a jerry in the back and run it completely dry but every chance i get i forget...

anyone else?

cheers

nope... mine has about 18 litres left in the tank when my EVIC says zero. engineered that way, makes you fill up before you run out fuel... safety margin.

pain in the bum as you're for ever topping up, but better that i guess than running dry in the middle of no-where

I just got back from the Southwest of WA with my 07 CRD. Towed a 12 foot (about 800 kg) poptop caravan down & back about 1000 km & returned 13.8 L/100 also had the air cond on all the way down.

Also did about 550 km running around between towns & got 9.9 L/100.

Cheers

Bri
