Think he's talking about the safety catch JJ because I have the same problem.

Yeah I'm doing the same thing but using update XJ's because there more like or the same as ZJ compared to pre-update

With the struts fitted it lifts the bonnet a little more to make it easier to get to the catch but I always found the worse part was actually holding the hot bonnet to lift it up high enough to get the strut fitted, those a things of the past...

These struts are Zg units...

That's a LOTTA louvers.

I notice the first two sets are oriented for extraction..... and the rear set for forced induction????
That would certainly let out a lot of heat....
