I find everyone has their "secret voodoo" receipt for fixing over heating issues. Truth is like every system there is no magic, just simple inputs and outputs. When in doubt follow these simple steps*
:
Perform manual conversion, remove transmission cooler in front of radiator.
Move radiator and AC cooler forward 25mm, redrill lower holes and modify top crossmember as required.
Install oversize aluminium radiator.
Install falcon twin thermo fans each wired on their own relay + fuse. We're talking redundancy here.

Now that my engine is properly run in (400,000) she hauls around without a worry about the heat.
