Don't know if this would account for such a drop in economy, but have you checked your tyre pressure?

Had the roof off more than usual?

I've been averaging bout 7.2-7.6km per liter for the last couple of months (maybe my bfg m/t's being close to full worn are helping - bout 1mm from replacement ridge) and thats with no speedo gear change so you can add another 6k's per 100k's there or there abouts.
I run the 31" m/t's at 38psi, 50/50 town/highway, 4thgear (standard ratio's) @100km/h, 3.5" lift, h/top. I pretty happy with that, it'll be a shock to the system when the 4.56's are installed and i return melb to syd still on the 31's, me thinks. At least i'll be able to utelise 5th gear..
So i shall enjoy it while it lasts...

Check out my Ride(s)
Default

Ive raised my tyre pressure from 32psi upto 36psi and noticed a harder ride but better fuel consumption this is only small though, but the firmer your tyres the less drag on the tyres which is easier for the vehicle to push along the black stuff
I run 33 Dick Cepeck FCIIs now at 36psi... but soon will go back to 30 or 32 because its too damn hard on your back
always run my 33 claws at 30psi on road
