As I've stated allready I wouldn't touch these on principle,
also I am a believer of you get what you pay for and don't believe the quality will be the same.

not really. I have seen more landcruisers break stuff on the trails than any other model i have wheeled with, 80 or 100 series.
We have a 200 series in our club now and already had many recalls and now his engine blew up and getting replaced under warranty. It appears these engines have issues as the dealer said this has happenned to quite a few now

Thanks for the PM Nemesis... will check it out soon... I read on a forum that the underhood temps in summer can get up over 60 or 70 degree's, so even on a 40degree day the intake temp from the snork is still lower than that of the engine bay... should help improve things a little
