Found a place in Rockhampton today that will make a set of hose replacement for me. Kaos Automotive will have a quote ready for me tomorrow. Because of where we travel each day I cant afford to have a failiure. I dont think there is much left in them.
Was out of phone rang today so will call Kaos in the morning to see what they come up with. I told them that there would possibly be more around this area that would be interested, they seemed keen to help. As has been mentioned previously they were surprised at the use of such crap for a turbo hose and could see the problem straight away.
Steve, they will ring as soon as the pipes are back in. The bloke they handed the job to apparently does exceptional work. he make makes all of their performance plenums and is a very busy boy. Will chase em up again on Monday.
For you folks in Perth - I have mine booked in at MCE Motorsport Wangara (Tim Roads) $660 fitted. They are going to make up a install yourself kit after I told them about this thread. The kit should be a little cheaper. They use stailess steel pipe (3mm wall thickness I think) and 5 ply reinforced silicon hose. I have seen their work on another JK (JOCWA member - That where I got this info) It looks bloody awesome. Both Tim and Terry (owner) were friendly and helpful. I hope this helps.
