Are Brown Davis tanks only suitable for diesel still?

Yeah that's what their web page says.

Yep. Just checked the website, they still say they are for diesel only.

Their web page needs updating, I also read that and almost cruised right by their tent because of it. Turns out the tank is fine for the pentastar but you need a carbon filter relocation at $200 (which they chucked in as part of the 4*4 show special)

At $1700 odd has anyone worked out how many klm's your gonna have to do to make it pay? That's a hell of a lot of money to be able to say 1000 k range. I know mine will do 600 plus on the standard tank.

I didn't realize there was a pay off.
If I fit one it will be so I don't have to carry a large amount of fuel through remote areas where there are no fuel outlets.
My 3.8 is only good for 500 Kms, and that is if I only travel solo, with no luggage, down roads which go down hill and can maintain a tail wind.
